Many of us work so hard during the
week that we find ourselves couch bound when we
have down time.
You may have a list of 50 things to do around
the house on your weekend or during your spring
break. Here's an idea,
outsource the list and RUN, don't walk, out of the
house! Here
are a few ideas that you can indulge in very reasonably.
- Check out a new hiking or walking trail
- Go bowling - bowling alleys all over have been
updated, check out their new look
- Learn to horseback ride (there are many stables
that offer very easy trail rides for beginners)
- Go to a museum or aquarium
- Near a beach? Many Boardwalks
are open on weekends through the winter months.
- Whale watching: Sorry Kansas,
you will have to board a plane for this one. If
you are near the Pacific Ocean, this is the time
of year to watch the Orcas in Washington and Oregon
and gray whales in California.
Getting fresh air and having some
fun will rejuvenate you more than a nap on the couch.
